Qatar, 13 August, 2025 : The General Tax Authority (GTA) has reminded all registered taxpayers to submit their 2024 tax returns via the Dhareeba Tax Portal before August 31, 2025, to avoid penalties under the Income Tax Law (Law No. 24 of 2018). The requirement applies to all entities with a commercial registration or license in Qatar, including tax-exempt companies and those fully owned by Qatari or GCC nationals.
The GTA also reaffirmed the continuation of its 100% Financial Penalty Exemption Initiative, allowing taxpayers to regularize their status without extra costs until August 31, 2025. Exemption requests can be filed online through Dhareeba.
Technical support is available at GTA Tower on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, via call center (16565), or by email at support@dhareeba.qa.
