KSA, 25 March, 2026: The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has urged businesses subject to withholding tax in Saudi Arabia to submit their February 2026 returns by March 10, 2026.
The Authority emphasized that returns must be filed through its official website to avoid late penalties, which are calculated at 1% of the unpaid tax for every 30 days of delay.
ZATCA also encouraged taxpayers to seek assistance through its 24/7 call center, email support, or the “Ask ZATCA” platform for further guidance.
Withholding tax in Saudi Arabia applies to payments made to non-resident entities without a permanent establishment in the Kingdom, in accordance with the Income Tax Law and its implementing regulations.
