Oman, 12 January, 2026: The Oman Tax Authority has signed an agreement with Nortal to develop a fully integrated electronic tax management system, supporting the Sultanate’s digital transformation agenda. The new system will automate tax processes, improve collection efficiency, reduce human intervention, and enhance data accuracy, while leveraging artificial intelligence to detect tax evasion and strengthen transparency. The agreement was signed in Muscat by H.E. Nasser bin Khamis Al Jashmi, Chairman of the Tax Authority, and Tomy Bosco, Partner and Business Area Director at Nortal.
