KSA, 22 May, 2026: Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has urged VAT-registered businesses in Saudi Arabia with annual revenues exceeding SAR 40 million to submit their VAT returns for April 2026 by 31 May 2026.
The Authority warned that late filing may result in penalties ranging from 5% to 25% of the VAT amount due.
ZATCA encouraged taxpayers to submit returns through the official ZATCA App and Website and reminded businesses that VAT applies to most goods and services supplied in the Kingdom, subject to certain exceptions.
