General Tax Authority Achieves ISO Quality Certifications: A Milestone in Service Excellence

Qatar, 15 March, 2024 : The General Tax Authority has earned the ISO 9001:2015 certificate for global quality, highlighting its dedication to enhancing service standards. Mr. Ismail Mohammed Alsayed Almansouri, Assistant President for Support Services, emphasized the significance of this achievement, stating it reflects the Authority's commitment to best international practices. This certification underscores the Authority's efforts to streamline operations and elevate service quality.

Mr. Nasser Ali Alhijji, Assistant Director of Public Relations, emphasized that obtaining the ISO certificate demonstrates the Authority's commitment to providing exemplary services and enhancing client confidence. This achievement symbolizes a significant stride forward for the Authority, showcasing its adherence to global taxation standards and dedication to service excellence.

To achieve this certification, the Authority revamped its operational processes, simplified procedures, and improved service channels for enhanced accessibility and efficiency. Furthermore, it intensified outreach efforts to raise awareness about tax culture and the importance of taxation in development.

Previously, the Authority also attained the ISO27001:2013 certificate for information security management and risk assessment. This success underscores its commitment to maintaining high standards in security and compliance with international regulations.

The Authority encourages clients to utilize its electronic services for efficient tax transactions and pledges to continue enhancing service quality and performance standards.
