Qatar, 25 March, 2024 : Qatar Financial Centre Authority (QFCA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) to enhance skills within the QFC and the wider financial industry. The partnership aims to provide training, certification programs, and access to CISI membership, enabling continuous learning and professional development.
Through this collaboration, both organizations seek to promote knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration among industry stakeholders. Training and certification programs will be conducted in English, with exams available in both English and Arabic.
Yousuf Mohamed Al-Jaida, CEO of QFC, emphasized the importance of the partnership in cultivating a knowledgeable workforce and building talent within the financial industry. Matthew Cowan, Regional Director-MENA at CISI, expressed delight in upskilling the QFC workforce and fostering closer ties with regulators and industry professionals in the region.
Abdulla Mohammed Al-Hajri, COO of QFC, echoed the sentiment of empowering individuals through continuous education, highlighting shared aspirations for a brighter future.
By joining forces, QFCA and CISI reaffirm their commitment to advancing professional standards and promoting growth in the financial services sector.
