UAE, 10 June, 2024 : The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) held a workshop, led by its InnoVATion Team in collaboration with the 01Gov platform, to explore ways to enhance tax services in alignment with the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme.
H.E. Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Director General of the FTA, highlighted the Authority's commitment to accelerating tax procedures as part of the Programme's goal to reduce government service duration by 50%. The workshop aimed to generate ideas for sustainable development in tax services, focusing on efficiency, quality, and flexibility while eliminating unnecessary procedures.
Stakeholders were urged to contribute ideas to streamline tax processes, emphasizing the importance of practical, real-world experiences to drive positive outcomes. Proposals discussed included analyzing and improving key services, eliminating redundant procedures, and ensuring effective service delivery.
The InnoVATion Team affirmed its commitment to incorporating workshop recommendations into the FTA's ongoing development plans to support community service initiatives and drive sustainable development.
