UAE Declares July 18 as Union Pledge Day

UAE, 6 August, 2024 : His Excellency Mohamed Bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, has praised President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's initiative to declare July 18 as "Union Pledge Day."

Al Hussaini emphasized that this day honors the signing of the Union and UAE Constitution by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the Rulers of the Emirates, marking the nation's journey towards the future. He highlighted the day as a significant milestone in UAE history, celebrating national unity and achievements guided by wise leadership.

He noted that Union Pledge Day renews the determination to advance in the spirit of the Union, with ambitions extending beyond the earth into space. Al Hussaini expressed confidence in a promising future, driven by the leadership's determination and the people's will.

At the Ministry of Finance, Al Hussaini affirmed their commitment to supporting sustainable development, financial stability, and economic prosperity for the UAE.
