Sharjah Investment Forum 2024 to Focus on Future of Smart Economies

UAE, 30 August, 2024 : Over 80 global ministers, officials, business leaders, and investors will converge at the 7th Sharjah Investment Forum (SIF 2024) to explore the latest economic trends and the transformative role of AI in smart economies. The event, themed “A Futuristic Vision for Smart Economies,” is organized by the Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah) and will be held on 18-19 September at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre.

Key UAE economic figures, including Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy, and Khalifa Musbah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Agriculture and Livestock, will lead discussions on topics such as the future of manufacturing, advancements in agriculture, and AI’s role in food security and supply chain management.

The forum will also feature CEOs from prominent UAE companies like Khaled Al Huraimel of BEEAH Group, Ahmed Mohamed Al Naqbi of Emirates Development Bank, and Hussain Al Mahmoudi of the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park.

SIF 2024 emphasizes diversity, welcoming global experts such as Morgan Eldred, Founder of Digital Energy, and Liesl Yearsley, CEO of Akiin AI. Attendees will gain insights from entrepreneurs and business leaders like Jigar Sagar, Founder of Triliv Holdings, and Dariush Soudi, Founder of ARENA Capital.

Marwan Saleh Alichla, Coordinator General of the SIF Committee, highlighted the forum’s role as a platform for investors and business leaders to explore trends and exchange knowledge, focusing on global challenges and opportunities.
