UAE, 18 September, 2024 : Japan will commence negotiations for an economic partnership agreement with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Prime Minister Fumio Kishida announced on X.
Kishida emphasized that finalizing this pact, along with a separate free trade agreement with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), will significantly strengthen economic relations between Japan and the UAE. These agreements are expected to enhance trade and investment opportunities, further solidifying the economic ties between the two regions.
