UAE, 20 September, 2024 : The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) hosted its Annual Forum for Certified Tax Agents at Zayed University’s Convention Centre, bringing together over 180 agents and key FTA officials to discuss the evolving landscape of corporate taxation in the UAE.
Zahra Al-Dahmani, Director of the FTA’s Taxpayer Services Department, stressed the importance of ongoing professional development for tax agents. "The corporate tax landscape is dynamic. The FTA supports continuous learning to help agents stay ahead," she said.
The forum covered key topics, including corporate tax regulations, obligations for businesses, and the Free Zone Corporate Tax regime. It also provided guidance on corporate tax registration through the EmaraTax platform.
Ethical conduct and professional standards were also emphasized, with the FTA highlighting the value of certification in fostering trust and transparency within the business community. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, encouraging open dialogue between agents and FTA officials.
