Federal Tax Authority Elevates Customer Service Standards with Upgraded Key Services

UAE, 25 March, 2024 : In a move towards enhancing customer service excellence, the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has announced the upgrade of three key services to align with the UAE's innovative ‘Government Services 2.0’ framework. These upgrades are part of the Government Services Quality Charter, aimed at improving service efficiency and ensuring a user-friendly experience.

Upgraded Key Services

  1. Tax Refund for UAE Nationals Building New Residences Service: Processing Time Reduced to 20 Minutes, Steps Down to 5, and Fields Streamlined to 28.

  2. Issuance of Tax Certificates Service: Document Requirements Cut from 6 to 5, Fields Reduced from 12 to 9, and Integration with UAE Pass for Seamless Access.

  3. Excise Goods Registration Inquiry Response Service: Application Time Slashed to 2 Minutes, Service Delivery Time Reduced to 5 Minutes, and Instant Responses for Customer Queries.

The FTA's Director General, H.E. Khalid Ali Al Bustani, highlighted the authority's commitment to elevating service standards to meet global benchmarks. He emphasized the implementation of effective transformation measures to expedite service completion, minimize documentation requirements, and enhance customer experiences.
