UAE, 25 March, 2024 : In a move towards enhancing customer service excellence, the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has announced the upgrade of three key services to align with the UAE's innovative ‘Government Services 2.0’ framework. These upgrades are part of the Government Services Quality Charter, aimed at improving service efficiency and ensuring a user-friendly experience.
Upgraded Key Services
Tax Refund for UAE Nationals Building New Residences Service: Processing Time Reduced to 20 Minutes, Steps Down to 5, and Fields Streamlined to 28.
Issuance of Tax Certificates Service: Document Requirements Cut from 6 to 5, Fields Reduced from 12 to 9, and Integration with UAE Pass for Seamless Access.
Excise Goods Registration Inquiry Response Service: Application Time Slashed to 2 Minutes, Service Delivery Time Reduced to 5 Minutes, and Instant Responses for Customer Queries.
